lestrade just having a look at john and going “i’ve got four dead people on my hands and he’s going to be a tit about it i can’t deal with whoever you are rn” and just fuckin leaves
then sherlock shows up with john to the crime scene and lestrade has thirty seconds of “whom?” before he just decides he can’t even with sherlock’s love life right now
at the end lestrade’s like “all right for god’s sake stop staring at each other across my crime scene just go already and i’ll see you in the morning, afterward” and he actually smiles as he watches sherlock basically golden retrievers on over to john standing there like a good husband waiting to pick up his wayward love
